Travelled with group of friends on our annual cycling trip. Added bonus of watching TdF this year. Gayle was a brilliant host. Villa ready well before our formal check in time and Gayle always responded very quickly to requests for local info. The Villa was great with good bedrooms, very well equipped and great areas for socialising inside and out. Bourg d’Oisans was fun and lively with great bike shops and cafe/bars but food not as good as in Briancon.

The fully fitted kitchen, recently renovated has a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, double oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and all the kitchen equipment you need to cater during your stay. The dining area has a large table seating ten with french doors leading to the side terrace. The lounge area has stylish corner sofas and flat screen tv with free view channels. A second set of french doors lead from the living area onto the front furnished terrace and garden. For warmth in the winter months the house has under-floor heating and wood burning stove making a cosy winter getaway.
The house has a large secure garage for the safe storage of your bikes and sports equipment. A long driveway offers off road parking. The large garden, furnished terrace, with sun loungers and BBQ provides a lovely area to relax or dine al fresco and enjoy the beautiful mountain view.

Lovely house, nice and clean, in a beautiful location within walking distance of shops and restaurants. We did a lot of cycling and there is a garage which is great for storing the bikes. Outside area is great, large decking area and tables and chairs for eating outside.

A modern townhouse located in a quiet side street in the heart of Bourg d'Oisans. You enter this delightful town house via a short staircase directly into the first floor bright open plan kitchen diner/ lounge. The kitchen is newly fitted with all modern conveniences and fully equipped to self cater. There is a large dining table with seating to accommodate six people. The stylish lounge is comfortable with a large sofa, side tables and two chairs.
Stairs lead to the first floor, which has two large nicely decorated twin bedrooms, both with plenty of wardrobe space and village views. All beds and mattresses are new as of July 2018 and are of a very high quality.
There is a family bathroom with semi circular bath and power shower. Overhead cupboards offer ample storage for personal items.
The second floor bedroom at the top of the house is large with twin beds, tasteful decor and a triangular attic window with views of the mighty Alpe D'huez. There is also a wc.
On the street level of the house, a door opens into a huge cave, which is suitable for bike storage and winter sports equipment. There is a laundry with washing machine and dryer. The street is quiet and offers plenty of space for washing bikes.

Just back from a cycling week in Bourg with 2 friends. The house was an ideal base for us to wobble up Alpe D’Huez and explore the surrounding area. There’s 3 good sized bedrooms, comfortable living space and a well appointed kitchen for self catering. The cave was great for bike storage/cleaning/maintenance with a track pump, bike stand and small toolbox provided. The house is in a quiet street a short walk from the centre with shops, bars, restaurants - we really enjoyed La Romanche - and several boulangeries (thoroughly recommend Artisan Boulangerie & Patisserie on Rue General de Gaulle). There’s also a small Carrefour Express supermarket in town or it’s a 10 minute walk to a larger Intermarche

Great location and only a 2min walk to the centre of the town. Free parking in the large carpark that is just around the corner. Perfect for cyclists as the “bat cave” under the house is perfect for bike storage, also there’s a track pump, maintenance stand and basic tools to keep the bikes maintained. Only thing that would be nice is a hose pipe just to wash the bikes off if it’s been a muddy ride. Rooms are big and the lounge comfy. We didn’t really use the kitchen but it has everything you’d need if you wanted to do self catering. Great place and would definitely recommend to others.

There is a long private furnished terrace in front of the apartment with the most incredible views over the rooftops of Bourg d’Oisans to Alpe d’huez, Les Deux Alpes and the other local climbs.

There is a large extendable dining table with seating to accommodate six people. The stylish lounge is modern and bright, there is plenty of comfortable seating in front of the French doors from where to relax and enjoy the mountain views, or catch up with sporting events on tv.
The ground floor has a lovely bright bathroom, with large shower cubicle and wc. Shampoo and shower gel are supplied.
Stairs lead to the first floor, and the spacious beautifully decorated twin bedroom with plenty of storage space, and direct access to a second furnished terrace. The second single bedroom is open plan and set beside the door to a further bathroom with shower, wc and washing machine. The single bedroom has storage for clothes in the area directly outside the bathroom, there is also a laundry drying area and access onto the terrace.
A second set of stairs lead from the first-floor corridor to the third tastefully decorated loft style bedroom with twin beds lovely furnishings. The large triangular attic window provides stunning mountain views. All beds and mattresses and furnishings are new as of April 2019 and are of a very high quality.
On street level at the back of the building there is private cave providing secure storage for bikes and sports equipment. The cave is equipped with bike racks, track pump, buckets sponges and all the essential tools required. Directly outside the building there are bike racks and plenty of space to wash bikes.

This fabulous house offers exceptional cyclist/ski friendly self-catered accommodation in a beautiful setting.
Previously a popular gite and now under new ownership since March 2023, Le Catelan is ideal for larger groups and families seeking spacious accommodation close to all amenities. Situated just a 5 minute drive/ride from the centre of Bourg d'Oisans and to the ski lift in Allemond.
*For larger groups it is possible to rent together the small house situated beside Le Catelan, Le Petite Catelan. This allows groups of up to 23. They are separate houses with their own bike stores, garden and parking. A great option for large groups.
The main house has a cosy chalet style, spacious interior set over two floors, and can accommodate 16 people comfortably in five nicely decorated bedrooms all with en-suite bathroom and separate WC.
The house also benefits from secure bike/ski storage, WiFi, laundry, TV, furnished garden, private parking for several vehicles.
An external staircase leads to the first-floor terrace, on the left side of the terrace is the entrance to a separate rental accommodation and to the right is the entrance of Le Catelan. You enter directly into the spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen area.
The living room has a welcoming, mountain style interior and a fabulous wood burning stove, TV, and comfortable sofas. There are two dining tables with seating for 18 guests and a well equipped professional kitchen with high quality kitchen appliances including a large fridge freezer, gas stove, coffee machine and dishwasher, making self-catering on holiday a pleasure!
The larger of the five bedrooms is on the first floor and has a double and single bed with a further two child beds on the mezzanine. The en suite bathroom has a full bath.
The other four bedrooms are on the ground floor accessible by an external staircase. Each bedroom has a combination of either double or single beds and adult sized bunk beds to cater for all group types. All bedrooms have a modern en suite bathroom with bath or shower,WC and plenty of storage for personal items.
To the side of the building on the ground floor is a large secure bike store, equipped with bike tools, wall hooks, track pump and stand. There are also ski racks and space to store winter sports equipment.
The house has an enviable location set in pretty gardens with wonderful outdoor space to relax in or enjoy an evening aperitif. There are sun loungers, and table and chairs for al-fresco dining.
There is a traffic free cyclist path(Voie Verte) which can be accessed from the house. This provides a scenic route to the villages when walking or riding together as a family.
A free navette stops 100m from the house during the holiday periods leading to Allemond(ski lift to Oz en Oisans) in one direction and to Bourg d'Oisans and Venosc(ski lift to Les 2 Alpes) in the other.
This is an exceptional house from where to experience mountain holidays together that will not be forgotten!

we stayed with 10 people in the house. There was more than enough room for everyone to do their thing. The kitchen is spacious and there is plenty of equipment available for cooking for everyone. The bedrooms/bathrooms were clean and tidy. Everything was clean and clean. The space for our bikes was perfect and there were even tools to carry out small repairs. We all enjoyed the location and the garden very much. The communication was very good and fast. There was a problem with the Wifi and it was adequately responded to. Overall a good location and good facilities. if we ever go cycling in the area again, we will definitely come back.

The first-floor entrance leads into an open plan fully fitted kitchen and spacious comfortable lounge, there is a large dining table seating 10 people. The lounge has plenty of seating for everyone to relax with comfortable leather sofas in front of the fire and 42' LCD TV. There is a large family bathroom with a large bath, shower, toilet and sink. The tower staircase leads onto the first floor with 4 bedrooms (two large doubles with en suite showers and two twin bedded rooms) and an extra toilet. The bedrooms are fresh and bright with high quality Brooklyn Oak furniture, memory foam mattresses and plenty of storage space.
Both double bedrooms at the front of the house have superb views to Alpe d'Huez.
The ground floor level has the final double bedroom.
There is ample space for storage of bike, bike tools, track pump and a stand. There is a separate heated ski locker and parking on the street right outside the house. The large furnished garden has a children’s playset and backs onto a delightful stream.

Lovely place and perfectly located - just off the main road so it's quiet, has great views from the balcony but still just a couple of minutes to the centre of town. The size worked well for two of us. We stayed at a peak time for an event so was a little expensive but it was well looked after, thoughtfully equipped and the garage was a real bonus for bikes. A great place - fully recommend.

At the rear of the hallway is the first spacious bedroom with double sofa bed and stunning unique style vaulted en suite bathroom with WC and shower. You can access the basement from the ground floor via a short set of stairs to the laundry with washing machine and access to the back door and the quiet pedestrian lane running behind the house.
A beautiful staircase leads to the first floor where there is a bright and spacious lounge with two large comfortable sofas, side tables, two chairs and a large screen TV, great for catching up with important sporting events. There are large French style windows with views down to the street below which is bustling with tourists during the summer months.
There is a bright and well-equipped kitchen/diner with large wooden dining table and everything you will need to self-cater. The kitchen offers lovely views over the rooftops of Bourg d'Oisans towards Alpe d'Huez and is a great spot to get together to plan your day. This floor has a WC.
Stairs lead to the second floor where there are two spacious and nicely decorated double bedrooms, the larger street side bedroom has an en suite shower room. Spiral wooden stairs lead to the fourth floor and a spacious attic bedroom with two single beds and sofa bed all new as of 2019, en suite shower and separate WC.
The basement cave is accessed from the ground floor and has bike tools and track pump as well as ski rack and plenty of space to store winter sports equipment.
The lane at the back of the house is quiet and offers plenty of space for washing bikes

Plenty of on road parking is available at the end of the street, or at the large free town car park located just above the house. The bus station is a 5 minute walk from the house. Here you can take public transport to Grenoble, Alpe d'Huez, Allemont, Vaujany, Les deux Alpes and Briancon.

Had a fantastic stay here. The property was exactly as described and really well kitted out for a cycling holiday. The secure storage area for bikes was really useful. The beds were comfy and the kitchen well equipped. Super easy walk to everything in the town so would absolutely recommend. This wonderful two story chalet sleeps 8 guests comfortably over four bedrooms and boasts a stunning location nestled in the valley between Allemond and Bourg D’Oisans. The perfect choice for groups of skiers, cyclists and hikers and families seeking a modern spacious holiday home in a peaceful location close to the Eau d’Olle express ski lift, navette bus stop, voie verte cycle path and the many cycling and hiking routes right on the doorstep!
You enter the house to the lower ground floor into the large entrance hallway with dining area and table and chairs seating eight guests, you can enjoy the views from the patio doors overlooking the garden. To the right a couple of steps lead up to the nicely decorated open plan kitchen lounge area. The modern fully fitted kitchen has a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and all the kitchen equipment you need to self-cater during your stay. The lounge has a stylish corner sofa and flat screen tv. A set of french doors lead from the living area onto a small raised terrace and onto the garden. For warmth in the winter months the house has an electric fire making a cosy winter getaway.
On the ground floor there are two nicely decorated bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and the second has two single beds. There is a large family bathroom with spa bath, Italian shower and a separate WC. There is a utility room with washing machine and dryer.
From the kitchen a staircase leads to the first floor where there is a further two bedrooms, a double bedroom with en suite shower and WC, and a twin bedroom with two single beds. The bedrooms are all bright and spacious, each with ample storage space.
The peaceful fully enclosed garden has a furnished terrace with sun loungers and BBQ, providing a lovely area to relax or dine al fresco and enjoy the spectacular mountain views. The secure bike/ski store is at the side of the house and provides safe storage of your bikes and sports equipment. The private driveway offers parking for several vehicles.
In winter - reach the ski lift Eau d'Olle express in Allemond in just 5 minutes by car. The bus stop is 100m from the house where a free ski bus passes regularly in the holiday period for Allemond and the Eau d’olle express - Oz en Oisans and to Bourg d’Oisans in the other direction.
